Spencer Environmentals Ltd. – how to download secured files from our FTP Server

1. The secure FTP account has to be setup by your project contact at Spencer Environmentals Ltd.

2. A User_Name / Password and instructions are e-mailed to you

(e.g. User Name: Client22 Password: ABc123)

3. On your PC click on the “START” button in the lower left corner and select: “Run”

Type (Copy/Paste) in the link that was e-mailed to you

(e.g. explorer ftp://Client22@ftp.spencerenvironmental.ab.ca )

…then click on the OK button

4. This will launch the Windows Explorer (“My Computer”)
and ask for a password in the “Log On As” dialog-box

- Use the provided password and you are directed to the secure FTP site.

Make sure that your firewall allows the FTP protocol via port 21.
